Voted Best Italian Restaurant In Savannah
Consistently good food. Very small restaurant, so I would recommend reservations, but either way the food is worth the wait. Best Italian food that I have had in Savannah. Reminiscent of a typical little Italian place in NYC.
I recently had the pleasure of visiting Savannah GA while on a trip with my girlfriend. After a night out on a ghost tour, we were lucky enough to find this gem while searching for Italian restaurants in the area. Immediately upon entering, we were greeted by Frank (the manager) who's friendly demeanor very much reminded me of our recent trip to Naples, Italy. The staff was very lively and personable. It was hard to actually tell who our server was because I'm fairly certain that we received equal attention from the entire waiting staff at Bella Napoli. The food was very good (I personally opted for a staff recommendation, A traditional Neapolitan Pasta dish with Shrimp), and Frank (the manager) even made it a point to season our plates right in front of us making the overall experience feel very authentic to our experiences in Italy. I was very pleased to find that the wine selection was fairly lengthy, but we ultimately decided to let the staff pick a wine for us after we described to them some of our favorite Italian wines, their pick was spot on. I can comfortably recommend Bella Napoli as a go-to place in Savannah if you are looking for good quality food, wine and an authentic Neapolitan experience.
Wow just wow! Perfectly cooked pasta and chicken obviously very fresh not frozen. Perfectly seasoned sauce I was very impressed. And this was a take out order!
This restaurant is amazing! My wife and I finally got an opportunity to try this place out and we were not disappointed at all. We both got pasta dishes for dinner and fried calamari and shrimp as an appetizer. One thing about this restaurant that’ll confuse everybody is there’s not host or hostess inside. You need to wait outside and they’ll come out and put your name on the list. The inside is very small so there’s no standing room. My advice would be to go here on a weekday and early as possible. We tried to go once on a weekend and it was a terrible line. Came back another time and it was such a short wait and amazing. We will always come back here again if we can.
