Voted Best Italian Restaurant In Savannah
This is our first vacation in Savannah and we were excited to find an authentic Italian restaurant. Walking in the place, we were warmly greeted and made to feel at home. The lasagna was absolutely delicious and our teenage daughter said the spaghetti and meatballs were the best she'd ever had! The only negative was the employees sitting at a table behind us, folding silverware, being loud, and goofing off the entire meal. It was annoying when you just want to relax. I'm not going to let that take away from my rating because I was truly impressed, otherwise. We'll be back for sure!
I recently had the pleasure of visiting Savannah GA while on a trip with my girlfriend. After a night out on a ghost tour, we were lucky enough to find this gem while searching for Italian restaurants in the area. Immediately upon entering, we were greeted by Frank (the manager) who's friendly demeanor very much reminded me of our recent trip to Naples, Italy. The staff was very lively and personable. It was hard to actually tell who our server was because I'm fairly certain that we received equal attention from the entire waiting staff at Bella Napoli. The food was very good (I personally opted for a staff recommendation, A traditional Neapolitan Pasta dish with Shrimp), and Frank (the manager) even made it a point to season our plates right in front of us making the overall experience feel very authentic to our experiences in Italy. I was very pleased to find that the wine selection was fairly lengthy, but we ultimately decided to let the staff pick a wine for us after we described to them some of our favorite Italian wines, their pick was spot on. I can comfortably recommend Bella Napoli as a go-to place in Savannah if you are looking for good quality food, wine and an authentic Neapolitan experience.
Fantastic Italian restaurant in historic Savannah. This is a great spot to grab an Italian wine and one of many classic Italian dishes. The lasagna, rigatoni, and chicken parm were amazing. They keep a whole wheel of cheese on hand if you like your pasta prepared therein.
Real Italian food owned by Italians. The food was great and the service was also pretty good. It can get very crowded easily though, so I'd recommend going on a nice day and sitting outside or even doing their take out.
